Starting a New Design

When the software is launched, the default view is Plan View in a tabbed layout.

Design elements can be added by clicking the Add button in the Home ribbon.

To close a design and start a new design:

1. Click the Design Button.
2. Click New in the menu.
3. The Start New Design dialog is displayed.  If you have selected defaults to use in your design, you can select Reset Defaults for new designn to clear these options for the new drawing.
4. Click the OK button.  The software will display as shown above.
5. Click the Add button in the Home ribbon to make changes to the structure.
